Concrete Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team at Polis, Inc. as a key member of our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building forms, pouring concrete, and ensuring high-quality finishes.

• Form Design and Construction: Design and build forms to meet project specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Concrete Pouring and Finishing: Pour and finish concrete to achieve high-quality finishes, using specialized tools and techniques.
• Reinforcement and Waterproofing: Use wire mesh to reinforce concrete and apply waterproofing and sealants to protect the finished product.
• Quality Control: Monitor and ensure that concrete meets project specifications and industry standards.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 3-year apprenticeship under journeymen workers or 2,000 hours of hands-on experience in concrete work.
• Physical Demands: Ability to perform strenuous tasks with hands, kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials.
• Technical Skills: Ability to measure accurately and read specifications.

Concrete Laborers may work in various weather conditions, including noisy, wet, cold, hot, dirty, windy, and dusty environments. They may also work irregular hours, including early mornings, weekends, shift work, and possibly be on call.
