Mainframe and UI Testing Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe and UI Testing Expert to join our team at Motion Recruitment Partners. As a Senior Software Tester with a strong background in Mainframe and UI testing, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, understanding the SDLC process, and conceiving solutions to meet the operational needs of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test scripts to ensure the quality of our software products
  • Analyze requirements and understand the SDLC process to identify areas for improvement
  • Conceive solutions to meet the operational needs of our company
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing efforts


Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in Mainframe testing
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience of Development Life Cycle and System Testing
  • Hands-on experience of Endevor and File Manager
  • Experience developing timely and accurate status reports, including time reporting and adherence to level of effort (LOE)
  • Solid understanding and experience with the following:
  • UI
  • COBOL
  • JCL
  • DB2
  • VSAM
  • Knowledge of designing mark up, developing the UI of websites and/or web applications
  • Demonstrated understanding of UX and UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability
