Job Summary

Trinity Health is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to join our team at St Mary Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain and document patient history and pertinent information in appropriate systems
  • Verify and follow Doctor's written orders
  • Produce quality diagnostic images for interpretation, such as positioning, technique, and image orientation
  • Respond effectively in an emergency situation
  • Adhere to infection control standards specific to patient care
  • Consult and communicate with other departments in a professional manner
  • Plan delivery of care according to patient injury or physical limitations
  • Operate medical imaging equipment properly and safely
  • Replenish and change supplies in assigned area as needed
  • Ensure equipment is in acceptable condition by conducting warm-up procedures
  • Follow department standards for reporting equipment malfunctions or problems
  • Perform accurate procedures in the operating room
  • Assist Radiologist in performing fluoroscopic procedures
  • Perform quality bedside radiographs
  • Accurately prepare and assist in the administration of contrast materials
Qualifications
  • ARRT registry (or must pass boards within 180 days of hire)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Technical School/2 Years College / Associate's Degree
