Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling medications.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including entering patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and managing inventory.
  • Assist with clinical services, including collecting and labeling blood/urine samples, and providing patient education.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the pharmacy department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in condition and appearance.

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
