Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication orders.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and medication orders.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with changing regulations and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • PTCB certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
