Key Responsibilities- Provide care at a leading healthcare facility.
- Manage an average of 15-17 patients during each 12-hour shift.
- Collaborate with a team of 7-8 hospitalists during day shifts.
- Support 1-2 hospitalists during night shifts.
- Conduct concurrent rounding and admitting shifts with flexibility for swing shifts.
- Work in a closed ICU environment with 24/7 in-house coverage for rapid responses.
- Lead primary medicine hospitalist services and assist in post-operative surgical management.
- Fulfill an annual requirement of 183 shifts (12 hours each).
- Encourage early to mid-career professionals to consider this opportunity.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program is required.
- Possess an active or eligible California medical license.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care providers, specialists, and hospital staff.
The compensation for this position ranges from $270,322 to $361,204 annually. This range reflects the starting total compensation and may include various incentives such as productivity bonuses, quality-related incentives, and additional cash compensation as applicable. Providers also typically receive a Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance along with other benefits offered by the organization.
