Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Kindred Hospital Chicago North. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will assist professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned areas.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, provide for personal care, emotional support, and perform more complex clinical skills under the direction of professional nursing personnel.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a course for nursing assistants.
  • Current Nursing Assistant Certification.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Minimum six months experience in an acute or long-term care facility.

Compensation

$17-$20/hour
