Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chiropractic Assistant to join our team at Excelsia Injury Care. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering top-notch services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with pre- and post-care procedures under the guidance of our Doctors of Chiropractic.
  • Take vital signs and perform physical therapy modalities as directed by our healthcare team.
  • Accurately document patient progress and modalities performed on progress notes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment in our exam and treatment rooms.
  • Monitor and maintain physical therapy equipment, as well as launder towels and other supplies as needed.
  • Assist with general office operations, including filing, chart preparation, and patient registration.
  • Travel to other locations as needed to ensure adequate coverage and quality patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • State Certification or enrollment in an approved course of study, including 20 observation hours and 520 clinical hours of in-office training, to become State Certified within one year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in CPR and/or First Aid.
  • 1-year experience in an office setting providing physical therapy and/or chiropractic care.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with doctors, patients, and co-workers.
Work Environment

This role requires sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, and working in various positions. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is also necessary.
