We are seeking a highly skilled Budget Manager to join our team at the City of Hutto. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing budgets that align with the city's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage budgets for various city departments, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify budgetary needs and develop financial plans to meet those needs.
  • Prepare and present budget reports to the city council and other stakeholders, providing detailed analysis and recommendations.
  • Monitor and analyze budget performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
