Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team at AMETEK. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and assembly of new and existing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and implementation of processes for mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic instruments.
- Interface with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to develop and document new products, processes, fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
- Build qualification and first build products from sketches and detailed work instruction documentation.
- Perform manufacturing operations as required by verbal instruction, engineering drawings, manufacturing or quality documents, and other standards.
- Proactively support opportunities to improve new and existing manufacturing processes, fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
- Support product transitions and prepare product, equipment, fixtures, tooling, related documentation, and processes for transitions to other AMETEK manufacturing sites.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand requirements specified on engineering drawings, sketches, manufacturing instructions, characteristic cards, routings, pick-lists, packing specifications, customer instructions, and other means to communicate operational requirements
