Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist Level II to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care, utilizing efficient and safe processes.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees in MRI procedures.
  • Train MRI Technologists I in MRI procedures and direct, check, and train other MRI employees in the absence of the MRI Supervising Technologist.
Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist.
  • Be fully proficient in all the duties required of a MRI Technologist II to the satisfaction of the department manager.
  • Must be willing to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.
