Position Overview:
As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnostic process by utilizing advanced imaging technologies to assist in patient care.

Work Schedule:
This is a per diem position with flexible shifts available, including Day, Evening, and Night shifts, as well as On-Call responsibilities.

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $35.70.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Medical Imaging Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Receiving and documenting orders in accordance with institutional policies.
  • Administering general and specialized X-ray procedures following established protocols.
  • Adjusting imaging equipment and determining appropriate settings for optimal results.
  • Preparing patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
  • Monitoring patients during procedures and documenting any significant observations.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the imaging environment.
  • Developing and processing imaging films in line with best practices.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Medical Imaging Specialist role, you should possess:

  • Completion of an accredited program recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current registration with the ARRT.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • State licensure as required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in diagnostic imaging.
