Join GRAEF as a Transportation Engineer/Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Engineer/Project Manager to join our team at GRAEF. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing projects, developing objectives, and managing project finances. You will also be involved in the design process and serve as a technical resource for our multi-disciplined team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project oversight, including setting priorities and developing objectives
  • Project financial management
  • Hands-on involvement in the design process
  • Serving as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team
  • Project engineering and management
  • Business development activities, including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management
  • Professional society involvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design
  • Knowledge of WisDOT design and standards is highly preferred
  • PE license in WI
  • Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking, and proposal development
  • Project Management experience with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation a plus
  • Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage
