About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to oversee our lab at our facility in the western suburbs. Our clients include well-known OEMs, such as Boeing, Raytheon, and Northrop Grumman.

Job Description

  • Develop quality control policies and evaluate production limitations.
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve quality issues.
  • Collaborate with OEM manufacturers to discuss product quality.
  • Maintain and continuously develop the company's QMS.
  • Support first-article inspection, approve materials, final product assemblies by confirming specifications, conduct visual and measurement tests, and reject unacceptable materials.
  • Troubleshoot CMM programming.
  • Implement root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications to establish correct inspection criteria.
  • Working knowledge of NADCAP regulations.

The Successful Candidate

  • 5+ years' experience in quality within manufacturing.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledgeable of Gage R&R and other calibration methods.
  • Understanding of AS9100 or IATF 16949.
  • Able to read and interpret customer GD&T blueprints.
  • Experience within aerospace preferred.
