Hospitality Aide Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Hospitality Aide to join our team at Regency Integrated Health Services. As a Hospitality Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide non-clinical care and services to assigned residents, following directives from the Charge Nurse.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as grooming, bathing, and dressing.
  • Answer call lights and respond to resident requests in a timely manner.
  • Provide pre and post meal grooming, including washing hands and face, and assisting residents to and from the dining room.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning water pitchers and keeping fresh water at bedside.
  • Assist with oral hygiene, including setting up to brush teeth and providing denture care.
  • Be alert to resident's comforts and needs, and report any unusual or abnormal situations to the Charge Nurse.
  • Knock before entering a resident's room and request permission to enter.
  • Use tactful and appropriate communication in sensitive situations.
  • Participate in emergency fire or disaster drills and other in-service training as scheduled.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Ability to understand, remember, and carry out oral and written instructions in English
  • Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents
  • Ability to complete assignments while having constant interruptions
