Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled OB-GYN Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Frio Regional Hospital Emergency Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting examinations and tests, diagnosing and treating reproductive disorders, and staying updated with medical practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial nursing histories, assess patients' conditions, and develop individual plans of care for patients assigned to the unit.
  • Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with other specialists, and adjust nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Perform fetal heart monitoring and make assessments of labor progress.
  • Manage other medical staff involved in a patient's care.
  • Create tailored treatment plans.
  • Maintain mastery of all medical instruments needed for treatment.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to provide accurate and effective care, even under pressure.
Requirements
  • RN license in good standing.
  • One year of experience in OB/GYN in a facility or medical office.
  • Graduate of accredited Nursing School.
  • Current AHA BLS.
  • Fetal Monitoring Certification, NRP required.
