Sales Manager, Business Development

Preferred Travel Group is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating contracted room revenue from non-managed accounts.

This role requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry and excellent communication skills to build relationships with clients and hotel members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate group performance fee revenues for groups from non-managed accounts
  • Work with the Sales Directors, Group Sales, Account Manager Team, Group Sales; the Marketing department, hotel members; and clients to achieve team goals and individual production targets

Requirements:

  • University degree in business and/or hotel management or related hospitality experience
  • Three years of hotel sales experience and ability to conduct thorough industry and company research

This role follows a hybrid working model, with a base out of one of the following Preferred Travel Group office locations: Newport Beach, CA; Chicago, IL; or New York, NY. Associates are generally expected to work from the office 2-3 days per week, allowing for a balance of in-person collaboration and flexible remote working.
