We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Glazing Estimator to join our dynamic team at Jobot, a leading manufacturing company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing detailed estimates for glass and glazing projects, including curtain wall installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret architectural and structural drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes.
  • Manage the installation of bullet-resistant, blast, and storm impact glazing.
  • Utilize CRM, Dodge, and ISqFt to manage project data and communications.
  • Conduct cost analysis and project estimation to ensure project profitability.
  • Manage materials and project bidding processes.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to ensure project delivery within budget and timeline.
  • Assist in the pre-construction phase, including planning and design.
Requirements
  • An Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in glazing estimation, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with glass curtain wall installations and commercial glazing.
  • Proficiency in interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Experience in bullet-resistant, blast, and storm impact glazing.
  • Familiarity with CRM, Dodge, and ISqFt.
  • Strong project management skills, including project estimation, cost analysis, and materials management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with construction drawings and construction estimating.
