Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team at JBT Corporation. As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for debugging, validating, and documenting automated guided vehicles (AGVs) prior to shipment to customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completes Vehicle Test Plans, which may include electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic debug of AGVs, vehicle configuration adjustment, vehicle calibration and tuning, validation of project requirements, and validation of vehicle safety systems.
  • Assists with application software development and documentation.
  • Documents changes to test and debug processes.
  • Implements changes to the test environment hardware or software.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Engineering or Software from a two-year college or university, or the equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Previous software development experience, including revision control.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in the use of electrical/electronic test equipment.

Special Requirements

  • Ability to travel, domestic and international, up to 25%.
  • Current valid driver's license.
