Corrosion Protection Specialist

BrandSafway is seeking a skilled Corrosion Control Technician to join our Field Services Team within the Engineering Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing standard testing to evaluate the efficacy of cathodic protection (CP) systems, performing basic adjustments and repairs on CP systems, and gathering data in support of CP and AC mitigation design.

• Perform standard testing to evaluate the efficacy of CP systems
• Perform basic adjustments and repairs on CP systems
• Gather data in support of CP and AC mitigation design
• Test and troubleshoot CP rectifiers
• Compile data in an organized manner for submission to Engineering
• Adhere to client and MATCOR safety requirements
• Maintain client relationships, with the goal of meeting all customer expectations

• AMPP CP 1 certification required
• 1 year of experience required
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work alone or in a team setting with minimal supervision
• Physical Requirements: Frequent standing and walking required throughout the day. Frequent stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and twisting required. May be required to lift and pull up to 70 pounds and must be physically capable of performing manual tasks without restriction.
