Role Summary: Are you enthusiastic about education? We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Practice Faculty member to become part of our dedicated Mechanical Engineering Department. In this capacity, you will be tasked with delivering dynamic undergraduate courses and laboratory sessions, encompassing a variety of engineering disciplines such as mechanics, machine design, computer-aided design, and thermal dynamics. You may also engage in teaching additional engineering subjects and assist with laboratory functions as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instruct undergraduate courses and labs within the Mechanical Engineering Department
  • Address a broad spectrum of engineering subjects
  • Facilitate laboratory operations and activities
Essential Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related area
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or Engineering Science
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Commitment to educational excellence
  • Relevant professional experience in the industry
  • Capability to secure a Professional Engineering license in the US within four years
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience in higher education teaching
  • Experience in mentoring senior design projects
  • Understanding of ABET accreditation standards
