Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Operations Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our wastewater facilities, including all related infrastructure, equipment, and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform technical operations and maintenance activities related to wastewater treatment, including sampling and laboratory monitoring.
- Conduct routine maintenance activities, including equipment repair and replacement.
- Assist in ensuring all equipment and processes are well maintained and functioning properly.
- Work safely and professionally, following all corporate and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Respond to emergencies and work additional hours as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 4+ years of experience working in the water or wastewater industry or related fields.
- Valid NY Grade IIIA or higher Wastewater Treatment Operator License.
- Valid NY Driver's license and ability to meet risk management guidelines.
- Competitive pay rate: $27.00 to $45.00 per hour.
- Plus prevailing wage for applicable tasks.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, and 401(k) plan.
