Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment, including pumps, valves, and chemical dosing systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, and reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors.
- Conduct Hazard Recognition Awareness to identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace.
- Assist in project planning, including on-site inspections, writing procedures, and specifying equipment and chemicals.
- Communicate with division management and customer representatives to ensure timely and effective completion of jobs.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all services and product lines provided by the division, and recommend changes and improvements to services and product lines based on job experiences and observations.
- Perform field maintenance on company vehicles, equipment, and tools, and assist technicians in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English, and basic math skills.
- Approximately 1.5 years industry experience, with 1-4 years experience in wastewater/water treatment operations preferred.
- Preferred SWRCB Grade I-III or higher Wastewater/Water Treatment Certification.
