Role Summary:

We are in search of a driven Associate Attorney, licensed in Virginia, with 1-2 years of civil litigation experience to join our energetic team. This position presents an excellent chance to collaborate with seasoned attorneys, acquire practical litigation experience, and engage in significant cases within the realms of real estate, business, and commercial law.

Key Duties:

  • Attend court dates and motion hearings in General District Court.
  • Litigate cases in both General and Circuit Courts of Virginia.
  • Conduct consultations with prospective clients.
  • Perform legal research and draft essential legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Assist in all stages of litigation, encompassing discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

  • Participate in firm-sponsored CLE seminars and contribute to educational efforts.
  • Work alongside the firm's business development team to cultivate referral relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law institution.
  • Licensed to practice law in Virginia.
  • 1-2 years of experience in civil litigation, ideally in real estate or business law.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

Compensation: $90K - $120K + Performance Bonus + Origination Credit
