About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Porter to join our team at Berry Global Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and adhere to all applicable Safety, GMP, Food Safety, and Plant Policies.
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Clean equipment, facilities, and work areas as directed by management, following established sanitation schedules and procedures.
- Operate aerial lifts and lift trucks safely and efficiently, performing tasks at elevated heights.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and contribute to a positive, productive work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; GED accepted.
- Demonstrated ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Excellent attendance record and willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to resolve basic mechanical issues and operate various equipment safely.
- Valid certification for operating aerial lifts and lift trucks.
