Responsibilities

  • Execute meticulous setup and teardown of audio-visual equipment according to departmental schedules, ensuring optimal presentation environments for diverse learning activities.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and repair of instructional technology assets, including software configuration and programming of Extron touch panels, to guarantee reliable performance.
  • Maintain accurate records within the department's inventory database, documenting equipment purchases, spare parts utilization, and other relevant information for efficient asset management.
  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions on classroom equipment and instructional software to faculty and staff, empowering them with the technical skills necessary for effective teaching.
  • Provide dedicated technical support for campus events, ensuring smooth audio-visual operations and contributing to a successful event experience.
  • Capture and edit classroom demonstrations and special events using video recording and editing software, creating valuable learning resources for students and faculty.

Qualifications

A minimum of an Associate's degree is required, coupled with two years of hands-on experience in the operation and troubleshooting of classroom technology. Proficiency in Zoom, Microsoft Office 365 suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, live video streaming software, and screen capturing software is essential. Preference will be given to candidates possessing Extron certifications.
