About the Role

Bonitz, Inc. is seeking a skilled Product Specialist to cover a regional footprint. As a key member of our team, you will focus on consulting clients on Terrazzo, Resinous Flooring, Access Flooring, Exterior Cladding, and Rainscreens. Your expertise will be essential in developing and sustaining long-term relationships with general contractors, architects, designers, owners, end users, and internal team members across long sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects from start to finish in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Develop new business and manage existing business clients, including general contractors, architects, designers, owners, and end users.
  • Take ownership of projects from first contact through completion, communicating effectively with internal team members and leaders.
  • Provide detailed and accurate work throughout the process, including reading blueprints and using estimating software.
  • Work in an office environment and in the field, including on job sites.
  • Visit ongoing projects daily to verify correct materials and methods, correct layout, quality of installations, production rates, schedule progress, and adherence to safety policies.
  • Schedule and take part in pre-project planning meetings to review project scope, drawings, details, installation methods, production rates, schedule, phasing, and safety policies.
  • Allocate daily manpower and other resources for assigned projects, maintaining required project schedules while maximizing project efficiency.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and submit RFIs to GCs as required.
  • Review and understand project documents, including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, construction schedules, and safety policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience preferred.
  • Experience in the construction or like industry is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking, time management, organization, attention to detail, and proficiency in computer skills.
  • Ability to work with initiative and independence, as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.
  • Ability to take care of customer needs while following company procedures.
