Healthcare Policy Research Associate

**About the Role**
We are looking for a skilled Healthcare Policy Research Associate to support our policy analysis, writing, and research efforts at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, obtaining, and analyzing data, reviewing literature, and gathering information on healthcare and human services costs, utilization, quality, and access.
The ideal candidate will have excellent quantitative and qualitative policy research and analytical skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have a strong understanding of healthcare policy and its implications for patients and healthcare systems.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation
- Perform policy and data analyses, combining and synthesizing data from multiple sources.
- Prepare written summaries and reports, providing input to written reports and materials in easily understood formats.
Requirements
- Masters degree in a relevant discipline, such as public policy, law, public health, or health economics.
- One year of related work experience.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
