Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Associate IV to join our team at the UMass Med School. As a key member of our research program, you will design and perform complex research experiments with independence, contributing significantly to the management of the research program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct multiple complex laboratory experiments with a high degree of independence
  • Analyze data, form conclusions, and decide on next steps with minimal supervision
  • Maintain accurate records and report results according to established protocols
  • Review literature, publications, and grants relevant to assigned projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biological or Natural Science and 5+ years of relevant research experience or a related Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant research experience
  • Strong ability to analyze complex visual data in a quantitative and objective manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
