Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Applied Scientist to join our People Experience and Technology team. As a key member of our Central Science Team, you will provide scientific thought leadership, collaborating with engineers and business partners to develop and deliver solutions that improve the employee and manager experience at Amazon.

Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be on re-imagining Generative AI Applications and Infrastructure for HR. You will apply your expertise in machine learning, NLP techniques, and complex system development to drive innovation and solve real-world problems. Additionally, you will play a critical role in business planning, working closely with senior leaders to develop goals and resource requirements, and influencing our long-term technical and business strategy.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need an advanced degree (e.g., M.S. or PhD) in computer science, statistics, engineering, or mathematics. A minimum of 5+ years of industry and academic experience in building machine learning models, along with experience building complex systems involving NLP techniques, is required. Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Java is also essential.
