Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonography Specialist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. This per diem position will play a vital role in performing standard and complex echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and assisting physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE's).

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Medical Center (CSRH-MC) is a 178-bed facility located in the South Texas Medical Center. Our hospital provides a high level of care through compassionate hands, experienced physicians, and advanced technology.

Our services include Acute Care of the Elderly Unit, cardiology, diabetes care, emergency care, general surgery, kidney transplantation, orthopedics, outpatient rehabilitation, Senior Behavioral Health Center, urology, and Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform standard and complex echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and assist physicians with TEE's
  • Work with pediatric patients with a wide variety of complex medical and psychosocial conditions
  • Must have patience and compassion to work with patients who may be ill or frightened
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required
  • BLS certification required
  • 0-5 years of recent experience in performing cardiac echo's required
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
