The ideal candidate will take charge of providing technical direction, overseeing intricate engineering initiatives, and upholding the utmost standards of excellence and performance in our systems engineering projects aimed at global markets.

Key responsibilities encompass architecture formulation, compliance with export regulations, client presentations, proposal development, and managing customer requirements. This role also involves creating technical documentation, managing projects, supervising design processes, and supporting prototype and production testing, integration, verification, and qualification, as well as system deployment assistance and in-house technical support throughout the operational lifecycle of the system.


Essential Responsibilities:
• Serve as the technical lead for the global systems engineering division.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the Export team.
• Lead and review requirements analysis, decompose requirements, assign them to relevant functional areas, and maintain traceability back to customer specifications and system-level derived requirements.
• Oversee design synthesis and the creation of supporting design documentation, including technical specifications, interface control documents, test plans, and procedures, ensuring compliance through verification cross-reference matrix (VCRM).
• Guarantee technical performance, quality, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Develop and present project/program design reviews for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in project/program scheduling, budgeting, subcontract management, and risk assessment.
• Manage the systems engineering team and collaborate with other functional design engineers.
• Participate in responses to customer requests for information (RFI), proposals (RFP), and new business development efforts, including technical interchange meetings and capability demonstrations.

Required Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 10 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 16 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with formal presentation capabilities.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide the technical vision for projects.
• Active Secret or Top-Secret US DoD clearance is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with wireless communication principles and a working knowledge of digital, RF, mechanical, network, or software design related to digital line-of-sight and satellite communication systems.
• Experience with US government export laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of Digital Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
• Proficiency in managing projects involving system integration, verification, and formal qualification, including support for integration and qualification events at customer sites.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to meet critical deadlines.
• Experience in requirements management and documentation, as well as product development, particularly in military application environments.
