Job Title: Associate Director, Biostatistics

Pfizer Inc. is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Biostatistics to join our team in New York, NY.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled biostatistician to provide statistical support for projects in Rare Disease. The successful candidate will collaborate with study teams to design studies, develop protocols, write statistical analysis plans, perform statistical analyses, and present results summarizing findings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide statistical leadership to cross-functional teams at the project level.
  • Collaborate with study teams to design studies, develop protocols, and write statistical analysis plans.
  • Perform statistical analyses and present results summarizing findings.
  • Participate in regulatory submissions and responses to regulatory inquiries.
  • Develop and utilize matching and weighing methods in analyzing real-world data.
  • Publish work in peer-reviewed statistical journals.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. degree in Statistics or a closely related field.
  • 3 years of experience as Senior Manager Biostatistics, Statistics Lead (Associate Director), or similar position.
  • Experience with clinical trials and business, providing an understanding of the process associated with statistical analysis of data from clinical trials.
  • Computational skills in R.
  • Ability to explain statistical techniques, considerations, and results to non-statisticians.
