This position is a W2 Hourly Contract Role.

Compensation: $ hourly on W2 with Limited Benefits

Key Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen with the capability to obtain an Active DoD Secret level security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 6-8 years of pertinent experience, or 4-6 years of experience with a Master's degree.
  • Proficiency in CREO, Zuken, missile harnessing techniques, missile architecture, and integration is preferred.
  • Experience in Printed Wiring Board (PWB), Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design, and cable harness development.
  • Familiarity with CAMEO is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse team across various internal organizations, managing supplier contributions, and developing internal documentation.
  • Capability to conduct design trade studies assessing cost, weight, packaging, and power benefits.
  • Active Secret clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in design tasks involving complex electronics chassis, PWB, CCA design, and cable harnesses.
  • Work within a small team covering all facets of system design from initial concept through testing phases.
  • Coordinate with team members across engineering disciplines to ensure product excellence for operational readiness.
  • Report to the Hardware Integrated Product Team Lead to create harness concepts for subsystem interfaces, develop wiring diagrams, generate Development Parts Lists (DPL), support component procurement, and provide integration assistance.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team, managing supplier inputs and creating internal documentation.
  • Conduct design trade studies evaluating cost, weight, packaging, and power benefits.
  • This role will be dynamic and will utilize a tailored Product Development Process (PDP) to support rapid missile demonstrations.
