Folder Gluer Operator

We are seeking a skilled Folder Gluer Operator to join our team at WestRock. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating the folder-gluer line, ensuring high-quality production and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Analyze job tickets to determine the appropriate setup procedure and meet schedule requirements.
• Verify barcode scanners are operating properly and test them throughout the shift.
• Perform start-up checks and initial the folder-gluer inspection status card.
• Inspect cartons for quality and verify sufficiency of glue on seams.
• Keep accurate records and prepare necessary labels and forms.
• Stack corrugated boxes and apply labels.
• Perform line clearance procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
• Train and direct gluer assistants and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of ISO forms and quality checks.

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a folder-gluer.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to perform basic computer tasks.
