Job Summary

Paladin Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substitute Teacher to join our team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Student Learning
    • Assist teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities.
    • Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs and abilities.
    • Encourage student participation and engagement in learning activities.
  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment
    • Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of students at all times.
    • Implement emergency procedures and protocols as needed.
    • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
  • Communicate Effectively
    • Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
    • Communicate effectively with teachers and other staff members to ensure a smooth transition of student needs.
    • Provide regular updates to parents on student progress and activities.
  • Meet Administrative Requirements
    • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
    • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
    • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
    • Pursuing or holding a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including students with special needs.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Certifications and Training
    • Adult and Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications required.
    • Valid Driver's License and liability insurance required for use of personal vehicle.
