Job Summary

Paladin Inc. is seeking a dedicated Substitute Teacher to provide high-quality educational support to our students. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of our educational programs and maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Student Learning
    • Assist teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities.
    • Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs.
    • Encourage student participation and engagement in educational activities.
  • Maintain a Safe and Organized Environment
    • Ensure the physical and emotional safety of students at all times.
    • Organize and maintain a clean and clutter-free classroom environment.
    • Implement emergency procedures as needed.
  • Communicate Effectively
    • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a smooth transition of educational responsibilities.
    • Provide regular updates on student progress and behavior.
    • Respond to parent inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Meet Administrative Requirements
    • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
    • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
    • Pursuing or holding a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills and Experience
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students, teachers, and parents.
    • Experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting is preferred.
    • Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Certifications and Training
    • Adult and Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications.
    • Valid Driver's License and liability insurance for use in completing work responsibilities.
