General Medicine Registered Nurse Opportunity

Cleveland Clinic's Medina Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our General Medicine Unit. As a member of our team, you will provide compassionate, comprehensive, and patient-first care to our patients. Our unit is known for its engaging work environment, highly skilled nursing team, and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with varying medical and surgical needs.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to home or further care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team efforts to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required for certain units.
  • Two years of recent related nursing experience, with consideration given to licensed military RN experience.
