Job Title: CDL B Driver

We are seeking a skilled CDL B driver to join our team at Richards Building Supply. As a CDL B driver, you will be responsible for safely delivering products to job sites and physically unloading material per customer request.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver products to job sites and unload material per customer request
  • Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory
  • Operate a semi-truck with Moffett and/or knuckleboom/crane experience desired
  • Load trucks with material scheduled for the day's deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations
  • Unload trucks and receive merchandise at warehouse
  • Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area
Requirements:
  • CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class C driver's license
  • Moffett and/or knuckleboom operating experience strongly preferred
  • Box Truck experience desired
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • Heavy Lifting experience
  • Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen
