Job Description

Job Summary:

VFG Sports Performance LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strength and Conditioning Director to lead our sport-specific training programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs that enhance athletic performance and reduce the risk of injury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Design and implement sport-specific training programs for athletes of all levels and ages.
  • Client Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop personalized training plans.
  • Coaching and Instruction: Deliver high-quality coaching and instruction to clients, focusing on injury prevention and performance enhancement.
  • Facility Management: Maintain a clean and organized weight room and facility, ensuring a safe and effective training environment.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, parents, and coaches to ensure seamless program implementation and progress tracking.
  • Business Development: Contribute to the growth of our business by developing and implementing strategies to increase membership and personal training revenue.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: NCCA Certified Personal Trainer (required) or in progress, with a strong interest in pursuing a CSCS or other nationally accredited certification.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in operations of a gym or weight room, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality coaching and instruction.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients of all ages and skill levels.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to learn and adapt to new technology systems.
