About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Professional to join our team in Hadley, Massachusetts. This is an ongoing opportunity with 20 hours of work per week, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing skilled care and case management to patients/families in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and accepted professional standards of practice. The role involves supervising and directing the Hematology Section and the Point of Care Testing program, as well as assisting in problem research and resolution for customer service issues.

This position reports to the VNA Clinical Team Manager and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct the Hematology Section and the Point of Care Testing program
  • Assist in problem research and resolution for customer service issues
  • Provide skilled care and case management to patients/families in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and accepted professional standards of practice
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved, accredited school of professional nursing required; BSN preferred
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Minimum of one (1) year Medical/Surgical nursing experience required; home care/hospice experience preferred
