Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Weekend Hospice Nurse. This role involves providing care and services to a group of hospice patients, visiting patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals as needed.
Responsibilities- Complete hospice admissions and patient visits as needed
- Provide symptom management, deaths, and admissions as needed
- Answer calls from patients, families, and customers
- Work collaboratively with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and CNA leadership
- Manage visits, documentation, and meetings, prioritizing and triaging multiple concerns
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing in the state(s) of practice with one year of experience under license
- Admissions and on-call experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to learn an electronic medical records system
- Competitive pay range of $40.00-$55.00 per hour
