Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our pharmacy, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and providing customer service.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in pharmacy operations, customer service, and teamwork. You will also have the chance to participate in our pharmacy technician training program, which will help you advance your career and become a certified pharmacy technician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and providing customer service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and patients, building trust and loyalty through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Participate in our pharmacy technician training program, which will help you advance your career and become a certified pharmacy technician.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • PTCB certification preferred.
  • Good math skills and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
