We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in receiving and processing medication orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform phone call follow-ups with patients, providers, and pharmacy staff to confirm medication orders and claim status.
- Act as a support system, providing guidance and education to patients and their families on medication management and related topics.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operation of the pharmacy.
- Successful completion of a WA Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
- Current Washington State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
- Minimum two (2) years of pharmacy experience, preferably in retail or specialty pharmacy settings.
- Experience working directly with specialty medication programs or in a specialty pharmacy.
