We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide in-home and group home services for adults with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Physical Therapy services to individuals aged 21 and above in group homes, nursing homes, and private residences.
- Address client progress and engagement in occupations that affect client health, well-being, and living quality.
- Determine and implement the client's treatment methodology, as well as guidance in interventions.
- Perform therapeutic services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and sensory needs.
- Educate clients on better practices of approaching tasks and provide mentorship on how to work towards small goals.
- Provide proper care and instruction to family members and caregivers.
- Oversight, data collection, and correction on client progress towards long- and short-term treatment markers.
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding clients and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations).
- Active Physical Therapy License.
- MS degree or greater in Physical Therapy.
- 2 years working experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience working with Adults and Geriatrics.
- Excellent organizational skills and great attention to details.
- Candidates must be energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping clients achieve their true potential.
- Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills.
- Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills.
