Purpose and Scope

Fresenius Medical Care Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Vascular Access Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients undergoing vascular access procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the mission, vision, and core values of Fresenius Medical Care Holdings, Inc.
  • Provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing vascular access procedures, under the direction of the Facility Manager and/or Charge Registered Nurse.
  • Assists with implementation of quality goals and facility-specific action plans to achieve Fresenius Medical Care Holdings, Inc. quality standards.
  • Responsible for addressing and acting on adverse events and action thresholds in collaboration with facility management.
  • Maintains integrity of medical records and other administrative and operational records.
  • Complies with all data collection and auditing activities.
  • Maintains facility environmental integrity and safety.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree desirable; and Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (R.N.).
  • Current appropriate state licensure and ACLS certification required.
  • 6 years' related experience.
  • Ambulatory Surgical Center/Vascular Access, Cardiac Cath Lab, or a combination of ASC, surgical, Interventional Radiology and ICU/CCU or emergency department experience preferred.
