Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an IR Tech, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment, preparing and observing patients undergoing procedures, and reporting abnormal activity. You will also be expected to confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patients during all procedures
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques
  • Interpret examination requests accurately
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in acute care
  • BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
