Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Echo Technician to join our dedicated team at Merit Health Natchez. This role involves performing echocardiograms on both adult and pediatric patients, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Imaging: Conduct adult and pediatric echocardiograms with precision.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrate knowledge in segmental blood pressure, tilt table testing, and cardiac monitoring.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient assessments.
Qualifications
  • Licensure: Must possess RVT (ARRT) or RVS (CCI) certification.
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications are required for cardiac stress testing.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in echocardiography is preferred.
Work Schedule

This position typically follows a day shift from Monday to Friday, with additional on-call responsibilities during evenings and weekends.

Additional Information

We are looking for a candidate who is adaptable and willing to float to other units as needed. Candidates with pending state licenses may be considered. Experience with EMR systems is advantageous.
