Job Overview

Carlisle Companies Inc. is seeking a dedicated and industrious Production Associate to contribute to the manufacturing of high-quality products while fostering a collaborative team atmosphere at our operational facility. The Associate will adhere to all Safety Policies & Procedures, implement Quality Control measures, and operate machinery to fulfill all necessary tasks. Carlisle Companies Inc. is a prominent player in Building Envelope Systems, effectively managing the flow of water, vapor, air, and energy from foundation to roof. Our superior products provide designers, contractors, and building owners with optimal solutions for below-grade, wall, and roofing applications.

Available Shifts: 1st 6am - 2:30pm, 2nd 2pm - 10:30pm, 3rd 10pm - 6:30am (Monday - Friday, with potential overtime on Saturdays and Sundays as required)

Compensation: $2 shift differential for 2nd shift / +$4 shift differential for 3rd shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment to assist in manufacturing, batching, filling, packaging, and other production line processes.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery as trained, including Forklifts, pumps, mixers, and valves, while maintaining cleanliness throughout the work area.
• Demonstrate the ability to read, write, perform basic math, and follow detailed instructions on Work Orders (e.g., Batch Tickets).
• Maintain adequate stock levels of all necessary components promptly to efficiently package mixed products as specified on Batch tickets.
• Accurately record all required data on batch tickets and complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists and equipment logs as needed.
• Understand Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and meet production targets assigned for each task.
• Conduct quality testing and document testing results as required.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as trained.
• Participate in all training programs provided by the company.
• Execute tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Comply with all OSHA and Carlisle safety standards, policies, and procedures relevant to the tasks performed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organizational skills, ensuring housekeeping standards are upheld in designated areas and at the worksite.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced manufacturing setting where employees may encounter varying ambient temperatures and dust; working with mechanical components and pinch points; exposure to elevated noise levels.

• Shift duration: 8-10 hours, depending on the schedule and business demands.
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend work as necessary.
• Operation of heavy, stationary machinery on the manufacturing floor.
• Use of radio, calculator, measuring devices, hand tools, and computer systems (Shop Floor and ERP).

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Previous experience in a production environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation is essential.
• Dependability and a good attendance record are required.
• Prior experience operating a forklift safely is necessary.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
