Dishroom Attendant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishroom Attendant at the Santa Fe Cattle Company. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary dishroom environment, ensuring the efficient operation of our dish machine, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Set up and break down the dish machine, ensuring it is operating correctly and reporting any defects immediately.
• Wash and store all dishes, pre-soaking pots, pans, and silverware according to company procedures.
• Check water temperature during dish washing to ensure sanitary practices.
• Remove trash from the dish room and place it in dumpsters, cleaning and sanitizing garbage cans and keeping liners in cans at all times.
• Clean and keep the dish room neat, including the detergent stage area, and strive to keep the floor dry.
• Mop floors and work as a team with all personnel to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to be stationary for long periods of time and move from area to area in the kitchen.
• Must be able to exert fast-paced mobility for periods up to 7 hours in length.
• Must have the ability to bend, stoop, lift, and carry dish racks, pots, pans, and bus tubs up to 50 lbs. in weight on a regular and continuous basis.
• Must be able to be subject to wet floors, extreme temperatures, and loud noise.
